Another Life, streaming the television series nearby and widely, is an American science fiction drama that rightfully captures the tastes and preferences of science lovers as well as the public who are strongly inclined towards this particular source of the genre.

Katee Sackhoff as Niko Breckinridge, astronaut, and commanding officer of the Salvare.
Justin Chatwin as Erik Wallace, Niko’s husband and a scientist employed by the U.S Interstellar Command.
Samuel Anderson as William, the horographic interface of sentient artificial intelligence aboard the Salvare. He is also a friend of Niko who is present in both his times of the good and the bad, advising him throughout.
Blu Hunt as August Catawnee, the youngest crew member of the Salvare and also serves as the lead engineer.
A.J Rivera as Bernie Martinez is the part-time chef and at the same time, Salvare’s microbiologist also.

Tyler Hoechlin as Ian Yerxa of season 1, is the earlier commander aboard Salvare and also Niko’s initial second-in-command.
Jessica Camacho as Michelle Vargas, again of season 1. She is the communications expert of Salvare and dies after exposure to the exotic matter in the course of the series.
Barbara Williams as General Blair Dubois, the U.S Interstellar Command, in charge of the United States’ efforts to discover and determine the intention to the artifact.

Basic Plot of Another Life
The series is about discovering- discovering the unknown and most importantly, the unidentifiable. What happens in the course of the series is that an unrecognizable object, flying, and in the shape of a Mobius strip lands on the ground level.
Now, a Mobius strip is basically an annulus placed on a hyperbolic plane or a sort of surface. This Mobius strip leads to the growth of a crystalline tower above it, surprisingly.
All the actions till this point are not known or deciphered by the public in general or people of the expertise.
As the action progresses through the course of the episodes of Another Life, Eric Wallace, played by Justin Chatwin, who is a scientist employed by the United States Interstellar Command, takes the first move.
He tries to communicate and strike a conversation to gain knowledge over the matter with the alien structure.
Captain Niko Breckinridge, Eric Wallace’ wife, whose role is played by Katee Sackhoff, carries the spaceship, Salvare, and all the crew members to decipher and determine the source of this artifact and hence, establish a first line of communication with those species who sent it in the first place.
Their spaceship, Salvare, owns the ability to run the faster-than-light or the FTL travel, thus, takes the majority of the crew team asleep in the midst of hibernation pods to be awakened and called for as and when required for duty or help.
