Chhorii 2: Releasing On Prime Video On 11 April 2025
This horror movie is a sequel to 2021’s hit film Chhorii, which featured Nushrat Bharucha in a pivotal role. Chhorii 2 follows the journey of Sakshi, who is trying to save her 7-year-old daughter from a superstitious cult and challenging societal norms while battling her inner demons.
As shown in 2021’s released Chhorii, Sakshi, an orphan, marries Hemant and moves to his native place, a remote village, where she fights with in-laws to save her unborn daughter. As the story progresses, Sakshi learns that her daughter will also be sacrificed, just like Hemant did with his first wife and daughter. Chorrii 2 is releasing on 11 April on Prime Video.

Chhaava: Releasing On Netflix On 11 April 2025
2025’s first blockbuster to cross the 500 crore mark at the box office, Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna Starrer, Chaavaa, is getting its release on OTT on 11 April 2025. This may come as a surprise for all those people who waited for long to watch on the OTT. Chaavaa is the story of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, who sacrificed himself for the Swarajya. The movie also features Akshaye Khanna, Diana Penty as Aurangzeb and Zinat-un-Nissa Begum.

Black Mirror Season 7: Releasing On Netflix On 10 April 2025
Black Mirror is a British anthology series created by Charlie Brooker. Following the theme of a dystopian near-future with Sci-Fi technology. The series has featured several notable A-list Hollywood stars, such as Daniel Kaluuya, Kelly MacDonald, Salma Hayek, and Miley Cyrus, in its previous seasons. One of the most popular Sci-fi dystopian series is now back with its seventh instalment. There will be 7 episodes will revolve around the show’s primary theme.

Phule: Releasing In Theatre On 11 April 2025
Pratik Gandhi and Patraleka Starrer’s movie Phule is based on Jyotiba Phule’s real-life story and will be released in theatres on 11 April 2025. Known as an anti-caste social reformer, social activist and writer from Maharashtra, Jyotiba Phule was known for educating women and oppressed cast people. Married to Savitri Bai Phule, Jyotiba Phule and his wife are known to be the pioneers of women’s education in India.
When women were treated with no respect and were only considered for household chores, Jyotirao Phule started the first school for girls in Pune by breaking all the odds of the patriarchy and male-dominated society. Directed by Anant Mahadevan, the movie will illuminate Jyotiba Phule’s life and contribution to Indian education for women’s empowerment. However, the film has also sparked controversy, with some people accusing it of defaming the Brahmin community.

Pets: Releasing On JioHotstar On 11 April 2025
