Remember Worthy Villains From Our Favorite 90s Cartoons

Villains keep the show running because there would not be problems without them, and without problems, what will our heroes do? Time and again, the courage and intelligence of the villains have been ignored only because they did not use them for the right reasons. Here’s to those villains who made our childhood a bit horrifying and much more interesting.

Skeletor

We got to see Skeletor in the show, He-Man, and he is rightly called the “Lord of Destruction.” Being a humanoid himself, he was the greatest enemy of He-Man. The biggest thing that backed Skeletor was his intelligence. He had his ways with something and could go to any extent to take revenge or satisfy his cunning nature. If this does not scare you, we do not know what will!

Angelica

We do not know if you all found her scary, but she frightened all of us, and we cannot get over it. Angelica Charlotte Pickles could be seen in a Nickelodeon series called “Rugrats.” She knew how to manipulate people for her benefit and would boss around like it was nobody’s business. The way she could be mean to everyone around her was really disturbing to see to some extent. Her spoiled nature was an additional discomfort.

Venom

Yes, you guessed right, we are talking about Venom from Spider-Man. The villain has established himself so much that he needs no introduction. The problem with him was that he was almost as powerful as Spider-Man himself, or relatively simple, an evil manifestation of Spider-Man. His black mask and his entire appearance scared every kid of the generation.

Lord Scumm

Well, of all villains, this one seems to be the nastiest for us all. We see him in the famous show Captain Planet and the Planeteers. Rats have taken a toll on this world before, but this one seemingly had no limits. He polluted the planet as no one did and even altered the reality of the main heroes in this show. He developed a drug that caused a lot of chaos amongst the youngsters and led to the death of one of the main characters of the show.

Spydra

The combination of a horrifying spider and a strict woman could make anyone shiver with fear. The number of arms she had was terrifying for any child to see. Her headstrong nature and will to get what she wants almost made her invincible as a villain in the show “Gadget Boy.”

Dr. Claw

The leader of the evil crime syndicate (M.A.D.) gave us some lousy adrenaline rush with his screen presence and intelligent and cunning plans. We get to see him in the show Inspector Gadget, and he is the main antagonist here.

The Shredder

We guess the name itself can scare most of us here. 90s kids will remember the kind of horror he brought with him every time he appeared on the screen. We see him in the show “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.” The battles he fought with Splinter in the Technodrome are worth watching, but they are frightening at the same time. In the later part of the show, he is mostly represented as a clown, but the sinister look that he carries has always been scary enough.

Mumm-Ra

The villain with a zombie-like appearance gave almost all of us a tough time with a series of nightmares. We got to see him in the show “Thundercats.” His voice and love for vengeance made every kid lose their mind and hope for the hero to take complete charge. He later became the scariest giant ever.

H.I.M.

This was the villain with probably the most stylish of all. He would have a satanic appearance and dress up like a woman. We saw him in the show “The Powerpuff Girls.” The amount of hatred in his plans is beyond imagination, and it is terrifying to think of him anyway.

Frieza

One of the most epic villains from the show “DragonBall Z” was Frieza. His powers were scary, and he was the master of his Universe. The main problem with this villain was that he would not die! The fight scenes between him and the characters of DragonBall Z are worth the watch for all action-lovers.
