6 Nostalgic Indian Shows That Made A Comeback

There has been a recent discourse on the Internet that mostly surrounds nostalgia and the “good ‘old days.” What initially led to this chatter was the quality of deteriorating films and series in the contemporary space, which led to many people on the Internet missing the shows they used to see in their childhood.

This resulted in film producers re-releasing older films that either attained “cult” status later or were just popular films that had been released long ago. However, producers had a different approach to this phenomenon in the television space.

Instead of reruning already successful shows, they returned the ones discontinued earlier. We will talk about nostalgic Indian and global shows that came back in 2024.

But, due to popular demand and immense backlash, the makers were compelled to restart the show, with Amitabh Bachchan returning as the host.

I can’t find the words to express my gratitude for your prayers, which resurrected Kaun Banega Crorepati, brightened this stage once again, reunited a family, and allowed me to be amongst you. I congratulate this country’s people on the resurrection, restoration, and reincarnation of KBC.

Bachchan said in the inaugural episode of the new season.
