Liam Payne, the former One Direction singer, tragically passed away on October 16, 2023, at the age of 31, after suffering a fatal fall from a balcony on the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was in the country to attend the concert of his ex-bandmate Niall Horan.

During one of the band’s performances of their iconic song, “What Makes You Beautiful,” we can see Harry Styles finishing his parts of the song. At the same time, Louis Tomlinson, along with Niall Horan, shares a playful banter with Liam Payne on stage.
As Harry proceeds to complete his stanza, Louis takes a muffin and rubs it in Payne’s face while he stands in complete disbelief. Horan rolls on the floor, laughing at the hysterical scene.

The promotional interviews for their concert film 1D: This is Us were a treat for fans as they showed a side of the band that we barely get to see. In an adorable moment from one of the interviews, we can see Liam be the absolute master of tomfoolery when he plays one of his pranks on Zayn Malik while he is answering questions by pulling his chair, making Malik tumble.
He then proceeds to pull Harry Styles’s cheeks, making our hearts melt with their bromance and making for an adorable moment that shows us how close the former band members were with each other.

Liam Payne originally travelled to Argentina to attend the concert of his former bandmate Niall Horan before tragically passing away.

During their South America tour, right after their performance of “Night Changes,” they took a break, but not for long. An excited fan had managed to bring a few little drums and a horn with them, and they started to play.
