There’s a gray area of ambiguity in a bustling world where people are classified as an introvert or an extrovert. It’s known as the “ambivert.”

You wait for your opportunity to speak
As much as you like to indulge in a conversation, you’re equally observant to be the listener and wait for your opportunity. Also, you do not tend to speak over the other person as you may think it’s rude and very rightly so.
Valuing your “Me Time”
Irrespective of the mediocre socializing that you do, you always tend to value your time. “Me Time”! Here you take out the time to listen to your favorite playlist, cook a recipe that you’ve searched on the internet, or even indulge in some art.
A conundrum for Friends
Your pals probably have a real hard time figuring out whether you’re an extrovert or an introvert. When they see you all too quiet, they may think that you’re an introvert, and as soon as you get comfortable in a conversation and start blabbering, they may think on the contrary.
You realize what courtesy is
You manage with all your will to refrain from any embarrassment by stopping them if the person you’re socializing with is a hardcore extrovert. Realizing what courtesy is in a conversation with an extrovert is indeed a skill.
You’re an adhesive in a conversation
Often you may find yourself as an adhesive to a conversation that is going around over a table. In a dull moment where the conversation over the table may be trailing off, you’d find yourself capable of holding it together by filling in the air.
Empathy is a trait you possess
Since you’re a mix of both extremes, empathy as a trait comes inherently to you. You realize to full well how cruel the world can be at times. Therefore you put yourself in the shoes of others oftentimes to feel the pain that there may be in their lives.
A balanced figure of attention
In a gathering, just like an introvert, you are not someone who’d sit in a corner and would want the attention never to reach you. Neither are you like a conventional extrovert who’d like all eyes on them. You would, being an ambivert, find a perfect balance to have a limited gaze on you.
P.S. You’d also chip in with what you have to say and what point you think you have to make.
Keeping checks on yourself
The trait of keeping checks on yourself is unique to an ambivert. For instance, if you know you’ve to be home by 7 P.M. post-party, you’ll prioritize the same and rush without second thoughts.
Also, this is a trait that comes after extensively knowing yourself. So congratulations on that!
The Neutron of the group(s)
Since being an ambivert means you’re flexible, you’ll have a tendency (rather ability) to wander in different social groups in a similar niche. For reference, if a class is divided into five groups, you’d find it easy to mingle with almost all the groups and know the gossip that’s going around the room!
