Here Are This Year's Oscars Winners

The 94th edition of the most prestigious awards in the entertainment industry concluded at the Dolby theatres, Los Angeles, on 27th March. The Power of the Dog led this year’s nominations list with a staggering 12 nominations but only managed to win one, for direction.

Dune lead the list in both nominations and wins, by getting nominated for 10 categories winning for 6, all in the technical categories, the most for any film this year. It was followed by Belfast and West Side Story with 7 nominations each, and King Richard with 6. CODA stood out by winning all 3 awards for which it was nominated – the best picture, the best supporting actor, and the best-adapted screenplay.

Also, Will Smith and Jessica Chastain both won the best actor/actress awards for the first time, a long-overdue win. Here is a list of some of the year winners who took home the big prize for their phenomenal work.
