Directed by Ayan Mukerji (Brahmastra) and produced by Aditya Chopra (Yash Raj Films), War 2 is set to release on 14 August 2025. This sequel to the War movie will star Hrithik Roshan opposite Jr. NTR. War 2 is a part of YRF’s spy universe, which includes blockbuster hits like Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger, along with sequels like Tiger Zinda Hai and Tiger 3.
Hrithik Roshan will be playing the role of Major Kabir Dhaliwal and will be on a high-stakes undercover mission against a new threat. This movie includes scenes shot globally, including action stunts in Spain, Italy and the UAE. Ensuring you get an action-packed paisa wasul experience. War 2 will also mark the debut of Jr. NTR in Bollywood. Pretty sure you must have seen some of his looks for this project, as it went viral on social media when they were shooting for this film last year.
Sources have already confirmed that a major action sequence and a dance face-off between the male leads have already been shot. Besides Roshan and Jr. NTR, War 2 will also feature Kiara Advani as a lead. There are speculations that the film might also include a dance number featuring Shraddha Kapoor.

Hrithik Roshan Upcoming Movies: Krrish 4
After years of waiting and rumours, it’s finally confirmed that the fourth instalment of the Krrish franchise, Krish 4, will be released in theatres very soon. In this superhero sequel, you will not only see Hrithik Roshan as a male lead but also as a director. Yes, you heard it right. Krrish 4 marks the directorial debut of HR. Backed by Aditya Chopra. This movie is set to be the most ambitious project of the lot.
The superhero movie series started its journey in 2003 with Koi…Mil Gaya, followed by Krrish and Krrish 3 in 2006 and 2013, respectively.
Koi…Mil Gaya and Krrish were super hits, but even though Krrish 3 was among India’s top 50 net-grossing films, Viewers had a mixed take on it. While many praised the acting and the VFX, the story seemed to be below average at best.
It seems like even though there is excitement for Krish 4, people are also expressing mixed feelings about sequels. We have seen it multiple times over the last 5 years. How sequels (Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Singham Again) have ruined stories and markets solely based on popular faces and IPs. Having a good story and a great origin villain will make or break Krrish 4.
This movie’s budget is Rs 700 Cr, making it one of the most expensive films. This huge budget and VFX scale are also the reasons for the delays over the years. We can say all we want, but fans are pretty excited and believe that it could break the records of Pushpa 2. It does seem possible, as its prequels have collected more than Rs 575 crores worldwide.

One of Hrithik Roshan’s upcoming movies is said to be Alpha. It is confirmed that Hrithik Roshan is set to appear as a mentor in Alpha, releasing in 2025, as a mentor. This movie will mark the beginning of YRF’s female spy universe. Alpha will feature Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, and HR, playing Kibir Dhaliwal, will be their mentor for this, yet another highly anticipated film.
