Amazon’s stand-up comedy competition, Comicstaan, will return with a brand new season on the 15th of this month. The trailer of Comicstaan Season 3 is creating a lot of hype on the internet as this time the format is a bit different, and you get to see four judges and seven mentors, along with eight brand new faces who will compete to win the prestigious title and become India’s next best Comedian.

Co-winner of Comicstaan season 2, commonly known as “Excuse me, Brother!” Aakash Gupta is one of the most popular and famous names in the Indian Stand-up scene. All his stand-up videos on his channel have trended, garnering 250 million views. He has been in shows across all major OTT platforms. Apart from Stand-up, he also does improvisational and sketch comedy and started his career in Theatre.

Co-winner of season 2, Samay Raina was quickly appreciated by the fans for his quirky wit. During the first lockdown, he started streaming Chess on his YouTube channel, which created a massive boom in chess streaming in India. He started streaming with many Grand Masters, with many well-known Chess personalities appearing on his channel, including Viswanathan Anand, Garry Kasparov, and the current world chess champion Magnus Carlsen.

Prashasti’s wacky humor and distinct delivery style made her an instant fan favorite. This greatly boosted her popularity, so much so that she is returning to season 3 as a mentor now.

His solid punches with a deadpan delivery are one of his strongest points. Shaswat’s observation about day-to-day things and the way he develops the material around it, has made him a fan favorite. It has resulted in him being also a UFC commentator.

Aishwarya Mohanraj

The only contestant from season 1 to get a perfect 10/10 score, Aishwarya Mohanraj became popular because of her style and astute observations. Both her Stand-up videos on her channel have more than twelve million views, and her vlogs also pull millions of views. She is very active on Instagram, too, with every reel of her’s making a million views. Apart from this, she also has her show on Amazon miniTV titled Staying in Love.

Shreeja Chaturvedi

Shreeja’s sarcastic humor with a deadpan delivery is one of the deadliest combinations ever. No wonder she has huge popularity among the audiences. During the lockdown, she appeared in lots of streams along with her peers, making the lockdown enjoyable. She creates content across the platforms with millions of views to their name. She also has a Fifteen minute special on Amazon, titled Stand-up Shorts, and a Ten minute short on Amazon Funnies.
